The founder ofWoodwindsOnLine.Com  is a saxophone player.

He wanted to offer a one-stop online shopping site for woodwind musicians, and anyone looking for woodwind instruments, accessories or music.

He also wanted to offer some free online services to the woodwind community, especially musicians looking for gigs or people looking to hire woodwind players.

The founder of the business played semi-professional sax in his student days -- everything from small jazz combos to big bands to classical orchestras.  He has performed on just about every saxophone voice there is, including bass, baritone, tenor, alto and soprano saxes.

He continues in that tradition today, performing with several swing bands in the National Capital Region and playing lead alto as section leader with a national-level concert band.
